Our Story

Strata Clay began with a shared love of creativity and making things by hand.

While Stacy’s creative outlet is clay, Ray’s background is in creative direction and visual storytelling. Together we wanted to create the kind of studio we would love to spend time in, a welcoming place where people can learn, create, and connect through the process of making.

Located in Alexandria, Strata Clay is being built as a community studio where beginners can take their first class, experienced potters grow, and everyone can enjoy working with clay.
